Megan was born and raised in Moncks Corner, South Carolina, a small town about 30 miles north of Charleston. While attending the Charleston School of Law, Megan served as a volunteer Guardian ad Litem, advocating for the best interests of children in abuse and neglect cases. She also had clerkships with the Charleston County Family Court and a local family law firm.
