Kennedy was born and raised in Columbia, South Carolina. She attended the University of South Carolina and graduated in 2018. After college Kennedy moved to Birmingham, Alabama where she attended Cumberland School of Law. While there, she wrote for the American Journal of Trial Advocacy, interned for the Honorable Karon O. Bowdre for the United States District Court for the Northern District of Alabama, and received the Scholar of Merit for Mass Tort litigation. Garrett Johnson, a Fort Mill resident and alumnus of Fort Mill High School, earned a Bachelor's in History and a Juris Doctorate from Wake Forest University. While in law school, he studied overseas in Venice alongside Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Before joining Elrod Pope Accident & Injury Attorneys as an attorney in 2011, Garrett interned there as a runner and legal assistant. His practice focuses on personal injury and serious accidents.
