I was born and raised in Indiana but have called San Diego home since moving here to attend law school. Prior to attending law school, I served eight years in the military as an active duty member of the U.S. Coast Guard. I graduated with high honors from Davenport University with a Bachelor of Business Administration. I gained a passion for family law while working at a veteran’s legal assistance clinic during law school. Attorney Katherine Siegfried has over ten years of experience representing individuals with disabilities in administrative hearings and appeals. She has worked with clients on initial applications for disability benefits through federal court appeals.

Ms. Siegfried also handles special education appeals throughout the Bay Area for children of all ages and types of disabilities.

She personally oversees each case, and works closely with clients to ensure that they gain a better understanding of the appeal process and of the merits of their case.
