As an attorney practicing for 40 years, I have gained experience that has been invaluable. I was the first female county attorney of Wise, the first county court law judge of Wise County, and have served as an attorney in private practice.

I was Board Certified in Criminal Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in 1990. I worked as a prosecutor in Dallas County and Johnson County. Since 1995, I have maintained a criminal defense law practice. I have had over 100 jury trials.

I am a Sherman native. I have lived the very large majority in my life in Sherman. I have also lived in Austin, Irving, Pilot Point, and now, Bells.

After graduating from the University of Texas, at Austin, I worked for 2 years. My first job, out of college, was as an assistant front desk manager, at a hotel, in Dallas. In my second year after graduation, I worked at a personal injury law firm. This was when my passion for fighting for the rights of the injured began to grow.
