She attended college at Bowling Green State University and graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in business administration. Amy received her law degree in 2002 from the University of Toledo College of Law and is admitted to practice in Ohio and in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her Dalmatians and riding roller coasters.

Mr. Shaffer is a native of Steubenville,Ohio. He is married to Arlene B. Angel-Shaffer, Esq. who is currently retired. His daughter, Sarah and her husband are both Registered Nurses. They are the proud parents of three sons. His oldest son, Daniel is a student at Carlow Univerity and working at HVL Laboratories.
