I have been practicing law for 23 years, working in various environments from large firms to boutique settings. Currently, I serve as litigation counsel at Hitachi Energy. My educational background includes a BS from Cornell and a JD from NYU Law. I am licensed to practice in California, New York, and North Carolina. I am deeply committed to making the legal profession more diverse and approachable. Additionally, I am certified in Adult Mental Health First Aid (USA) by the National Council for Mental Wellbeing.

Jason Aycoth handles Criminal Cases in State and Federal Court across North Carolina. Jason is the former President of the Greensboro Criminal Defense Lawyers Association and currently he serves as an elected member of the North Carolina Bar Association’s Criminal Justice Section. He has served as the Editor of the True Bill, as Commencement Speaker at Elon Law School’s Graduation, and has been the presenter of the Wade M. Smith Award for Top Criminal Defense Lawyer in the State of North Carolina.
