I was born and raised to represent individuals who have been needlessly injured. I mean that literally. At a young age my father would tell me about the clients he was representing. I would meet them and take pride in their admiration of my father. I always knew I wanted to be a lawyer and represent clients that needed my help.

David Mangan grew up in Festus, Missouri and attended Festus R-6 High School, during which he participated in the Missouri Scholar's Academy, Missouri Boys' State, and the National Youth Leadership Forum on Medicine. I attended Rockhurst High School, the University of Missouri-Columbia, and the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law, where I served as Literary Editor of the Law Review. Upon my graduation from law school, I spent one year as a judicial law clerk in Jackson County, Missouri and then spent several years at a prominent Kansas City litigation firm.
