I was raised in Minnesota. My academic journey took me to St. Mary’s University of Minnesota in Winona, where I earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a minor in business, graduating cum laude. I furthered my education at the University of St. Thomas School of Law, where I held the position of senior editor for the Law Journal and worked as a certified student attorney in the Elder Law Clinic. My legal practice is centered around family law, real estate, and estate planning.

Prior to becoming a lawyer, Chris served eight years in the U.S. Army as a paratrooper and Russian translator for Military Intelligence. He continued in government service as a prosecuting attorney; a position for which he made hundreds of court appearances. It is this extensive courtroom experience that Chris brings to Rosengren Kohlmeyer, Law Office. chtd. He is an active member of the St. Peter Catholic Church as well as a saltwater enthusiast. Kotten Law Firm is managed by attorney Glen A. Kotten and opened for practice upon Glen’s admission to the Minnesota State Bar in 2012. Glen is a January 2012 graduate of Thomas M. Cooley Law School’s accelerated law degree program.
