I decided to become a lawyer in honor of my friend, Sgt. Jessie Davila, who was killed in action while we were deployed to Iraq. My initial focus in the law was to help other Veterans navigate the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs disability system as a Veterans lawyer. However, I discovered that many of the Veterans I was helping obtain VA disability benefits also needed help with estate planning and elder law concerns.

Clint began his legal career as an assistant public defender for the Missouri State Public Defender. He is also a veteran of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, where he served as a military police enlisted soldier and infantry officer.
He's also the author of several books and articles, where he writes about federal tax policy, as well as criminal justice and military justice reform.
