She earned her juris doctor from Cooley Law School, where she was on the Cooley Law Review, the Honor Roll and the Dean’s List. Steven Kaplan, a 1981 honors graduate of Detroit College of Law, served as an assistant prosecuting attorney for Macomb County for 24 years, and for Wayne County for two years. He has been a member of the M.S.U. College of Law faculty since 1998, teaching trial advocacy and advance evidence courses.
