He graduated with honors from OSU in 1982, with a Major in Business Administration and Minor in Behavioral Sciences. In 1985 he graduated from the University of Oregon School of Law. He became a member of the Oregon State Bar in 1985 and the Washington State Bar in 1987. He is licensed to practice in all state and federal courts in Oregon and Washington.

I began my trial practice as a prosecuting attorney in 2007, litigating felony and misdemeanor criminal jury trials. I transitioned to civil litigation in 2010 and expanded my practice to include representing clients in business litigation and personal injury disputes. I am admitted to practice before all Washington and Idaho state and federal courts. I also volunteer as a Board Member on the Board of Directors for Catholic Charities Spokane.
