A native of Massachusetts, Matthew grew up in Mashpee on Cape Cod. With Kelsey & Trask, P.C., Matthew practices primarily in the area of bankruptcy, and business and civil litigation, and also handles cases involving family law, personal injury, debt collection, and conflict resolution both through the courts and through settlement. Prior to his admission to the bar, Matthew served 8 years in the United States Marine Corps, including service in Operation Enduring Freedom following the events of September 11, 2001. Matthew E. Sullivan is the founder and principal at M. E. Sullivan Law, LLC. His practice focuses on trust and estate planning and administration for individuals and families. His practice also includes helping survivors with estate settlement and the Massachusetts probate process.

He is a graduate of Northeastern University School of Law, the Boston University Graduate School of Management, and the College of Information and Computer Sciences at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. He has been licensed to practice law in Massachusetts since 2002.
