I have been practicing law since 1981,initially licensed in Washington D.C., subsequently in Maryland in 1982and in Virginia in 1984. I am also admitted in all Federal Courts DC, Maryland and Virginia.My primary focus is on legal collections and creditor's rights for financial institutions, including major Federal Credit Unions. Additionally, I possess substantial experience in handling creditor's rights in bankruptcy cases, specifically under Chapter 11, Chapter 13, and Chapter 7.

Colleen Coffman practices primarily in the areas of civil and commercial litigation, family law, and estate planning and administration, but has experience in all of the firm’s practice areas. Colleen joined Ethridge Quinn after a judicial clerkship with the Honorable Mary Beth McCormick in the Circuit Court for Montgomery County. A lifelong resident of Montgomery County, Maryland, Colleen graduated from Gaithersburg High School and received her undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland Robert H.
