After 35 years as a civil trial lawyer in all kinds and sizes of cases, Bill Robitzek has formed a practice devoted to serving the needs of other attorneys. He offers alternative dispute resolution services as well as confidential consultations on pending cases. He is the former President of the Maine State Bar Association and the New England Bar Association. He has lectured widely to lawyers and law students on issues relating to trials, evidence, preparation of witnesses, depositions and client relations.

I provide legal advice and representation for all family matters, including divorce, spousal support, child support, domestic violence, paternity and adoption. I graduated from Middlebury College in 1977 and New York Law School (cum laude) in 1983. Family Law has been my specialty for the last 30 years.

My primary focus in my practice is assisting taxpayers with tax debt resolution. I help my clients by eliminating tax debt when I can, or, arranging affordable tax debt repayment of actual tax liability. I find it extremely rewarding when I watch the relief overcome people during an initial consultation when they learn about their options and strategies available to manage tax debt. As Judge Learned Hand pointed out, "there is nothing sinister in so arranging affairs as to keep taxes as low as possible."

I have grown up in Maine attending Erskine Academy and UMaine Orono. I obtained my law degree in Connecticut (Uconn Law) and returned to practice near my home. Now that I have returned to Maine I have picked up my favorite hobbies: hiking, biking, fishing, kayaking, visiting the local towns for those small hidden gem's like Eat More Cheese, Liberal Cup, Jess's Market, Perry's Nutshop (any many others), and spending time with family and friends.
