Ms. DeFede practices primarily in the areas of education law, family law, juvenile law and criminal defense. She has represented clients in all state courts in Northern Virginia, the Court of Appeals of Virginia, the Supreme Court of Virginia and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. Ms. DeFede has extensive litigation experience in the areas of criminal law, ranging from misdemeanors to serious felonies. Mr. Jones has lived in Fairfax most of life, graduating from Lake Braddock in 1987. He resides in the area with his wife and two children. Mr. Jones coaches Little League baseball and youth basketball. He is an avid UVA basketball fan.

Marissa Boyce is a Virginia native and Richmond transplant. She is a 2013 graduate of the Catholic University of America’s Columbus School of Law, and worked as a magistrate in the central Virginia area before coming to the Richmond Public Defender’s Office. The majority of her practice is in the Juvenile and Domestic Relations courthouse, where she litigates cases involving juvenile defendants, juvenile victims, and family or household members. She spends her free time playing with her dogs and making off-color and nihilistic needlepoint pieces.
