Family law has always been a passion for Ms. Martin. She has focused her entire career on family law and continues to maintain her practice where her passion is. She began clerking for the Honorable Judge Bailey in family and juvenile court before going into private practice. Ms. Martin has a passion for people and truly loves her work.

I have lived in Mobile since birth. After graduating from the University Military School in Mobile, I attended the University of Alabama where I received my B.S. degree in Corporate Finance and Investment Management; my Masters in Business Administration and my Juris Doctorate degree. I have over 25 years of litigation experience in Family Law, Probate Law, Juvenile Law, Criminal and Civil Law before the Circuit District and Probate courts of Mobile and Baldwin counties. I am a very experienced trial lawyer who will aggressively and vigorously represent the rights of my clients.

Mary is a native of Tuscaloosa and a graduate of both the University of Alabama (BS Nursing 1986) and the University of Alabama School of Law (1989). She is also a graduate of Gerry Spence’s Trial Lawyer’s College and the National Criminal Defense College.

Mary teaches Trial Advocacy at the University of Alabama School of Law and serves as vice president of the Tuscaloosa County Bar Association. She is a member of the Alabama State Bar, the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the Alabama Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, and the Volunteer Lawyers Program.
