I have been practicing law for 28 years with a focus on criminal law for 26 of those years. I have been a public defender in Clark, Floyd, Harrison and Orange counties. I practice in those counties as well as Scott, Crawford, Washington, Jefferson. I am also licensed in Kentucky, practicing only in Jefferson county on that side of the river. I have handled murder cases as well as all other high level felony matters. I also handle low level felonies, misdemeanors and traffic infraction cases. Travis graduated from Loyola University Chicago School of Law, where he made Dean’s List seven terms and was a Law Journal executive editor. He and his wife Betsie, a public school teacher, live in Bloomington, Indiana, with their four children. Much of their free time is spent working on their small family farm.
