I grew up in Helena, Arkansas, attended the William H. Bowen School of Law in Little Rock and trained with the National Institute for Trial Advocacy. Before entering private practice, I was as a software developer, Chief Privacy & Security Officer, and in-house counsel for a healthcare company.

Joe Byars has over 25 years of experience in private practice. He began his practice in Dallas, Texas, handling business and employment law issues of all types. Since moving to his hometown of Fort Smith,Arkansas, his practice has focused on civil litigation, including personal injury law,employment law, and complex business litigation in many areas, including antitrust, and healthcare.
