Denethris Barnes is a native Savannah, Georgia. Denethris obtained her undergraduate degree in Psychology and Spanish from Armstrong Atlantic State University. Since a child, Denethris has always wanted to be an attorney so the decision to enter law school was an easy one. Denethris attended law school at Savannah Law School in Savannah, Georgia. She joined the Savannah Law Review and eventually became the Executive Editor of law review. Denethris also was a member and competed on the Mock Trial and Moot Court teams, becoming Chief Justice of Savannah Law School’s Moot Court.

A life-long resident of Athens, Georgia, Samuel E. Thomas is a 2010 graduate of the University of Georgia with a B.A. in Political Science. He is also a 2012 graduate of the University of Alabama School of Law in Tuscaloosa. He was admitted into the practice of law in June of 2013. Samuel E. Thomas is a fourth-generation small business owner in the Athens, Georgia area.
