James R. Oxford, Jr., practices in "Georgia's Lake Country"--Greene, Putnam, and Morgan County, Georgia--,and focuses on personal injury cases, workers' compensation claims, and criminal defense.

John practices in the areas of tax and business law with an emphasis on business transactions, real estate, tax and estate planning. He counsels individuals, businesses and their owners in a wide range of transactions, including sales and acquisitions, buy-sell agreements, medical practice agreements, estate and business succession and general tax matters. Licensed to practice in Georgia, South Carolina and Tennessee. Born in Greene County, Georgia in 1964, Mr. Boswell graduated from Nathanael Greene Academy in 1982. After graduating from Presbyterian College in 1986 with a BS in Economics, J. owned and operated a dairy farm near Union Point for a number of years before returning to law school. He returned to Greene County and opened his law practice in Greensboro in 2004 after receiving his JD from Mercer University and passing the bar.
