I have been practicing law in Washington for 38 years. My practice has focused solely on family law including such issues as divorce, support modifications, parenting plans, paternity, prenuptial agreements and gay and LGBT family law.

Joy Lee Barnhart graduated from University of Puget Sound School of Law (now Seattle University School of Law) in 1981. After working as an independent contractor primarily doing family law, she started her private practice in the 1990s. Since then, she has worked in estates and probate, guardianships, and consumer and small business bankruptcies. Theresa Lorella became an attorney to help people find their voices in difficult and emotional circumstances. In 1991, Attorney Susan Alexander earned her Juris Doctor Law Degree, with cum laude honors, from Gonzaga University School of Law. She has been licensed to practice law in Washington State since 1991. Attorney Alexander began her law career as a clerk with the United States Attorney’s Office in the Eastern District of Washington.
