She has been licensed to practice law in Washington State since 1991. Attorney Alexander began her law career as a clerk with the United States Attorney’s Office in the Eastern District of Washington. She later served as a Judicial Law Clerk in the Nevada Supreme Court, and as a King County Deputy Prosecuting Attorney. Hillary Dawn is a compassionate family law attorney dedicated to guiding clients through divorce and child custody matters with empathy and skill. A mother of two, she prioritizes solutions that protect children’s well-being and minimize emotional harm. Hillary is passionate about serving the LGBTQ community, offering experienced representation in parenting plans and parental rights cases, including those involving non-biological parents. Combining strong negotiation skills with litigation experience, and drawing on her background in estate planning, she helps clients achieve practical, lasting outcomes. Outside of work, Hillary enjoys Seattle sports, backpacking, snowboarding, and wakeboarding with her family.

Practicing 34 years in Olympia, Washington, my practice is now limited to family law matters. I grew up in the once-great town of Aberdeen Washington, went to Whitman College and law school at Washington and Lee University in Virginia.
