Trenton Family Lawyers

I hold Board Certification in Family Law from the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. My legal practice is centered around child custody issues, divorce proceedings, modification suits, as well as premarital and postmarital agreements, among other family-law related matters. While I advocate for amicable resolutions, I am a strong and strategic advocate for my clients' rights. I take a solution-oriented approach and enjoy crafting creative strategies, especially in cases involving children. I primarily serve clients in Dallas, Denton, Tarrant, and Collin Counties.

While in law school Kristen worked in the Family Law Clinic at Texas Wesleyan University School of Law (now Texas A&M University School of Law). During her time in the clinic she was confronted with the reality of the makeup of the modern family. She encountered everything from grandparents raising their grandchildren to unmarried parents with custody and child support issues. Having grown up during the era in which the nuclear family of the past began morphing into something that looked quite different, Kristen found herself drawn to the area of family law. I am very experienced in domestic litigation and do appeals in areas of civil law. I am a mediator and a member of the State Bar College. I volunteer at Fathers for Equal Rights and am a member of the American Bar Association and the State Bar of Texas. I am very dedicated to my clients and will always put their interests first. I bring new techniques and strategies to my cases.
