I was born in Roswell, NM in 1956 and completed my 12th grade at Stavanger American School in Stavanger, Norway in June 1974. I graduated with a B.S. in Criminal Justice Theory and Research, along with a minor in Government from Lamar University, Beaumont, Texas in May 1978. During my time there, I was elected to the National Political Science Honor Society in 1977. I retired from the Air Force in the grade of colonel after having served 29 1/2 years active duty. I was a three-time commander at the detachment, squadron and group levels. My first passion is caring about and caring for families in the broader community because they are the foundation of our nation. My other passion is to continue what I did while on active duty - caring about and caring for servicemembers, federal civil servants and families -- whether still serving or in retirement -- in honor of their contributions to our nation.

Founding member Jennifer Espronceda is a lifelong resident of San Antonio. She received her undergraduate degree with honors from Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi and her law degree from the University of Texas at Austin. Having worked for a large, global law firm following graduation, Jennifer delivers business “know-how” with a results-oriented style that provides clients and colleagues with vision, creativity and leadership. Prior to graduating from law school, Jennifer was selected for a judicial internship in the Southern District of Texas where she worked for the Honorable George P. Kazen.
