John B. Runge has been representing Texans in crisis since 1982, and has vast experience in litigating complex cases throughout the State of Texas.

I hold Board Certification in Family Law from the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. My legal practice is centered around child custody issues, divorce proceedings, modification suits, as well as premarital and postmarital agreements, among other family-law related matters. While I advocate for amicable resolutions, I am a strong and strategic advocate for my clients' rights. I take a solution-oriented approach and enjoy crafting creative strategies, especially in cases involving children. I primarily serve clients in Dallas, Denton, Tarrant, and Collin Counties.

Barrett comes from a family that has long been a part of the East Texas area. Barrett was born and raised in Tyler. He graduated from Robert E. Lee High School and played catcher for the school’s baseball team. After high school, Barrett attended Texas A&M University where he earned a degree in Sociology as well as a minor in Business. While in law school Kristen worked in the Family Law Clinic at Texas Wesleyan University School of Law (now Texas A&M University School of Law). During her time in the clinic she was confronted with the reality of the makeup of the modern family. She encountered everything from grandparents raising their grandchildren to unmarried parents with custody and child support issues. Karen A. Alexander is a graduate of Baylor University, School of Law. Mrs. Alexander is the owner of Alexander & Associates and specializes in criminal cases.
