Upon graduating from Rutgers School of Law, Kisha worked for the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office in Hackensack, New Jersey, where she gained exceptional criminal litigation and appellate practice experience. While assigned to the Appellate Section, she handled municipal court appeals in the areas of DWI, traffic offenses, harassment, assault, and possession of narcotics. In 2002, Kisha accepted a position with the United States Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Prisons. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Economics from American University in Washington, D.C., and later received my Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from Drake University Law School. I also earned credits toward my law degree from New York Law School and Rutgers University Law School-Newark.
