After graduating from University of Detroit Mercy School of Law in 2006, I began partnering with experienced and capable attorneys to gain knowledge and expertise in Family Law. I continue to assist families in resolving their domestic issues such as divorce, child custody, paternity, support and all other aspects of family law. I am committed to providing each and every client with professional representation that is in your and your children’s best interest.

I am a solo attorney working in Howell, MI. I am a graduate of Wayne State University in Detroit, MI. For me, my practice is all about my clients. They depend on me for their needs, and I want to help them meet those needs. I entered the field of law because I wanted to help people, and I am grateful to have the opportunity to do that now.

Marisa is an attorney at Varnum providing support across several practice areas. As a member of the Litigation Practice Team, she focuses her practice on commercial business disputes and general litigation matters, including contract disputes, business torts and construction or property-related issues. As a student of law, Jim Kolosowsky recieved the highest student honors in Family Law and Interviewing and Counseling. His academic achievements earned him a position as the Senior Associate Editor of Law Review at Thomas M. Cooley Law School; several honors scholarships; and a graduate ranking in the top 12% of his law school class. As a trial attorney, Jim Kolosowsky has represented numerous clients in both misdemeanor and serious felony cases. Jim has received not guilty jury verdicts in cases ranging from armed robbery to murder.

Born and raised in Mishawaka, Spence joined the firm in 1979. He counsels clients in the areas of domestic and family law, commercial litigation, mediation and personal injury and wrongful death cases. During his career, he’s served as President of the St. Joseph County and Indiana State Bar Associations.
