In 1994, he established a private practice in Dearborn County, Indiana and was a Public Defender in the Dearborn County Superior Court from 1994 through 2001.

Kara Reagan has been a partner at Schulz Reagan, LLC, where she focuses exclusively on family law matters, since 2018. Prior to that, she was with Stafford Law Office, LLC for over twelve years, practicing primarily family law.
