I am Jennifer Ward, Esq., the founder of Ward Family Law, LLC, a firm based in Chicago, where I have dedicated over 20 years to focusing on matrimonial and family law. For 20 years, I have represented clients in contested divorce and custody matters in McHenry County. I am also a court appointed guardian ad litem and mediator in family law cases. I also provide representation for clients needing estate planning and Medicaid planning.

Ms. Salata's practice is focused in U.S. Immigration law as well as Illinois Workers' Compensation law. She works extensively in family immigration matters, removal proceedings, non-immigrant visas and naturalization and citizenship law. As a trial lawyer she has more than seven years of experience successfully litigating Workers’ Compensation cases before the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Commission and Circuit Courts. Ms.Salata graduated from Loyola University and secured her law degree from the University of Illinois College of Law. She is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, and Chicago Bar Association.

I am a native of Chicago. I majored in History at Colgate University in Hamilton, NY, and went to I.U. Bloomington Law School. I have practiced immigration law since 1991 in Chicago and Milwaukee.
