I am a native Floridian raised in Daytona Beach, Florida. Since I first learned about the U.S. Constitution and the civil rights cases of the 1950s and '60s when I was a young boy, I knew I wanted to be a lawyer: to help and serve people when liberty, freedom, or property are on the line; to ensure justice is served. Mark Longwell was born in Silver Spring, Maryland (adjacent to Washington, D.C.), where he spent his youth. He moved to Grosse Pointe, Michigan in elementary school and graduated high school in 1983. Clay Smith has a very diverse background, having grown up in Florida, California, and Iran. Clay attended high school in Stockton, California (Benjamin Franklin) and in Jacksonville, Florida (Ed White and Douglas Anderson School of the Arts).
