Sandra received her Juris Doctor from Florida International University College of Law in 2015 from where she graduated cum laude. While in law school, Sandra had the opportunity to intern for the Honorable Jose Rodriguez at the Eleventh Judicial Circuit and at the Staff Attorney's Office in the Broward County Courthouse. Sandra was also a Certified Legal Intern at the FIU Family and Education Law Clinic and at the FIU Immigrant Children's Clinic where she handled family and dependency cases under the supervision of an attorney.

Patrice's entire career has been in community work: protecting the community from registered sex offenders, protecting abused, abandoned, and neglected children and helping families at risk of homelessness and other legal matters jeopardizing their safety and stability. Her career further focuses on the service of veterans, people living with HIV/AIDS, LGBTQ+, victims of domestic violence, and the elderly. Patrice is actively engaged in collaboration with Broward community partners, strategic planning, and program design. She has presented at national conferences regarding the law and particularly how it impacts vulnerable communities and how innovative solutions reach those target populations.

Shawn Reid is a native of Brevard County Florida having grown up in Brevard. After attending undergraduate and law school in the Northeast, Mr. Reid came back to Brevard and began his legal career as a prosecutor. After being in Court on a daily basis and handling numerous Trials, including high level felonies, Mr. Reid started his own firm after close to 6 years as a prosecutor. My primary areas of practice for over 22 years has been in family law and probate. I have been court-appointed as Guardian Ad Litem numerous times in high conflict custody disputes. I have also been appointed by the Court as Intermediary in locating birth families to explore the feasibility of reconnecting with the adult adoptees.

He has extensive experience in criminal law, handling cases ranging from murder to fraud. Additionally, he is trained and experienced in medicolegal death investigations. Mr. Mote also handles family law, immigration, personal injury, and probate matters.
