Katherine Boyd is a partner at Steed Barker Boyd. Katherine started her legal work as an oil and gas title and real property transactional attorney and has expanded her practice to include estate planning. She is passionate about helping her clients, understanding their needs, and creating an estate plan that works best for each situation with the knowledge that these are difficult and sensitive topics.

I am very experienced in domestic litigation and do appeals in areas of civil law. I am a mediator and a member of the State Bar College. I volunteer at Fathers for Equal Rights and am a member of the American Bar Association and the State Bar of Texas. I am very dedicated to my clients and will always put their interests first. I bring new techniques and strategies to my cases.

I retired from the Air Force in the grade of colonel after having served 29 1/2 years active duty. I was a three-time commander at the detachment, squadron and group levels. My first passion is caring about and caring for families in the broader community because they are the foundation of our nation. My other passion is to continue what I did while on active duty - caring about and caring for servicemembers, federal civil servants and families -- whether still serving or in retirement -- in honor of their contributions to our nation.
