I am the senior shareholder in Coplen & Banks, PC. I have been practicing law for approximately 35 years, with extensive experience in commercial, insurance, family, probate and personal injury litigation. Because of my education background, my practice is 50% litigation and 50% business transactions, wills, trust and probate.

I serve Austin businesses and investors in resolving thorny disputes, protecting Intellectual Property, Patent Law, Estate Planning and Probate legal matters. I help clients with thoughtful estate planning that protects children and vulnerable family members, preserves assets, and creates Texas family legacies. I provide perspective and legal advice wrought by experience, and bring peace of mind for clients.

This is a general practice office where I handle a variety of legal matters. My focus is on maintaining low overhead and providing high quality individualized service. I feel that this practice style provides the most value to the client. In my free time I coach high school volleyball in Oklahoma City and spend time with my greyhound. I attend St. Francis Catholic Church in Oklahoma City.
