This is a general practice office where I handle a variety of legal matters. My focus is on maintaining low overhead and providing high quality individualized service. I feel that this practice style provides the most value to the client. In my free time I coach high school volleyball in Oklahoma City and spend time with my greyhound. I attend St. Francis Catholic Church in Oklahoma City.

I am the senior shareholder in Coplen & Banks, PC. I have been practicing law for approximately 35 years, with extensive experience in commercial, insurance, family, probate and personal injury litigation. Because of my education background, my practice is 50% litigation and 50% business transactions, wills, trust and probate.

Wide ranging experience of practicing law in different areas of law, including mediation, trials, appeals and representation of client before boards, as well as experienced in lobbying. Licensed in to practice law in Texas, Pennsylvania, Nebraska, and the United States Supreme Court. Experienced in practicing law in Federal District Courts as well as State Courts.
Graduated from Creighton University School of Law in 1973 and started practicing law in 1974. Experienced as a former Deputy County Attorney, as well as a City Counsel Member.

After serving as law clerk on the Federal Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals for two years, entered private practice of law in 1972. Practice includes transactional commercial and residential real estate, small business, wills and estate planning, and franchising law.
