Colleen is a Florida native who grew up in Gainesville before moving to Tallahassee to attend Florida State University. After graduating with a double major, Colleen moved to the St. Petersburg area to attend Stetson University College of Law. After she was admitted to the Florida Bar, Colleen joined a small family law firm where she gained extensive experience handling cases involving divorce, paternity, custody, and adoption. Colleen then shifted her practice to estate planning after seeing first-hand the complications that arise within families.

Denyse D. Kruse, Esq. is a shareholder at Kruse Law, P.A. where she focuses her practice in the areas of estate planning, probate and trust administration, and Elder Law. Denyse graduated cum laude from Stetson University College of Law in 2016 and earned a certificate of concentration in elder law. Denyse earned the William Blews bro bono award, the Carol A.
