I was born and raised in the Chicago area, where I grew up in a family of Greek immigrants and working-class entrepreneurs. My family owned and operated one of the largest retail ice cream truck companies in the nation for many years. This background has given me a deep understanding of the unique legal challenges faced by small businesses and working-class individuals. I graduated with honors from the University of Denver Law School in 2001.
