I was born in Roswell, NM in 1956 and completed my 12th grade at Stavanger American School in Stavanger, Norway in June 1974. I graduated with a B.S. in Criminal Justice Theory and Research, along with a minor in Government from Lamar University, Beaumont, Texas in May 1978. During my time there, I was elected to the National Political Science Honor Society in 1977. Samantha Chambers began her legal career as a prosecutor with the Collin County District Attorney’s Office in September 2008, shortly after graduating with honors from the SMU Dedman School of Law in Dallas. Prior to law school, Mrs. Chambers received both Bachelor and Master of Arts degrees in English from Texas A&M University where she taught rhetoric and composition.
