I graduated from Elon University School of Law's charter class in 2009. I eventually made my way back to Carteret County, North Carolina, in 2013. My focus now is primarily on family law, including divorce, custody, spousal support, property division, and domestic violence. I also do some estate planning. When I am not advocating for my clients, I enjoy walks and relaxing on the beach, sports, reading non-legal books, and spending time with my spoiled dog, Curly.

Kevin E. Heckart was born in Des Moines, Iowa in 1961. After graduating from Wentworth Military Academy he enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves in the Spring of 1979. Kevin then continued to serve in the USMCR achieving the rank of Corporal while attending Drake University (B.A. – 1983). Before graduating from college, Kevin was accepted into the PLC program for prospective Marine Officers, completed the training and was Commissioned a 2nd Lieutenant in May, 1983.

I am now a retired attorney in Franklin, Macon County, North Carolina. I have handled criminal law, family law, personal injury, and traffic matters for over 34 years in NC and TN. Christian was born and raised in Indiana and attended Indiana University in Bloomington where he received a degree in Philosophy and Political Science. During college, Christian worked as a wildland firefighter for the U.S. Forest Service and the Bureau of Land Management in the summers.
