My practice concentrates on family law as well cross-over family law and immigration issues. I am fluent in the English and Chinese (Mandarin) languages. I am reasonably flexible with my work schedule to accommodate working clients.

Kandy received a BA in Sociology and and California Teaching Credential from San Diego State University. She received a Masters degree in Counseling from Chapman College. Prior to becoming an attorney she worked as a Probation Officer and Social Worker with children involved in the Juvenile Court related to child abuse and neglect. Kandy's primary area of practice is Juvenile Dependency, representing all parties including parents, relatives and foster parents. Additonally she works in the areas of Family Law, Guardianships, Adoptions, Restraining Orders and Paternity Actions.

Since 2011, I have been dedicated to practicing in the areas of Family Law, Estate Planning, and Probate. I am a fervent advocate for my clients, always striving to achieve the most favorable outcomes for them. I am actively involved in the legal community as a member of the Pasadena Bar Association, Los Angeles County Bar Association, and the Beverly Hills Bar Association.

John Griffith founded Griffith, Young & Lass in 2010, and partners Catie Young and Amy Lass joined the firm in 2011 and 2013, respectively. Griffith, Young & Lass is a private practice that specializes in all aspects of family law. Young is a divorce lawyer who represents clients in Oceanside, Carlsbad and other surrounding communities since earning a bachelor’s degree in political science at the University of California, Santa Barbara, followed by a law degree from Thomas Jefferson School of Law.
