Bio Ed Mallett is a Member of the TCDLA "Hall of Fame." He is a graduate of Dartmouth College and the University of Texas School of Law. He is also a Past President of the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the Harris County Criminal Lawyers Association. He was been a Course Director for the TCDLA Rusty Duncan Course and the State Bar of Texas Advanced Criminal Law Course.. He is, by Presidential appointment, for 2017-2023, Chair of the TCDLA Judicial Relations Committee.

Born in South Korea, raised in Argentina, I obtained my law degree from Washburn Law School in Topeka, Kansas in 1994. Since then, I have been delivering high quality, competent and personalized legal service to my clients. I am fluent in English, Spanish and Korean. My early days as an attorney was in public service as a staff attorney for legal aid offices and then as an assistant county attorney at prosecutor's offices.
