I am a graduate of Trinity College in Hartford and Capital University Law School in Columbus, Ohio. I am past president of the Connecticut Criminal Defense Lawyers Association and although the majority of the practice is appeals and trial litigation, as a country lawyer in Old Lyme I have always helped people with real estate closings, wills, trusts, estates and the probate process. including will contests and probate litigation. I have argued successfully at the Connecticut Appellate Court and the Connecticut Supreme Court.

As a former attorney for parents and children involved in child protection cases I saw the challenges families face in the legal system. Parent’s voices not being heard and children suffering in the foster care system… Decisions being made by government agencies rather than families who love and trust one another.
