After working for Edward R.Vrdolyak Ltd.and the Vrdolyak Law Group LLC.for close to 40 years it was time for me to do some things I've always wanted to do.In sterting my own practice I hope to use my vast experience in Alternative Dispute Resolution.

Matt Karstens is an Associate Attorney at McSwain Nagle Giese & Rapp., P.C. based out of Wheaton, Illinois. Matt has extensive courtroom experience gained from his time spent as an Assistant State's Attorney in Kane County, Illinois. Matt specializes in Criminal Defense (Traffic, DUI, Domestic Violence, Misdemeanor, and Felony) and Family Law matters (divorce, parentage, allocation of parental decision making making and parenting time, child support, spousal support, relocation, orders of protection, and prenuptial/postnuptial agreements.

Alex was born in Galesburg, Ill., and has lived in rural western and central Illinois throughout his life. He attended Knox College in Galesburg, graduating in 2011 with a double major in History/Political Science. Prior to law school, Alex worked as a special education aide at West Central High School in Biggsville, Ill., where he coached the football and track teams.Alex earned his J.D., cum laude, in 2016 from the Saint Louis University School of Law.
