Prior to joining Vantus, Steve worked with Hirschi Christensen, PLLC, Cottonwood Capital, LLC and Cherokee & Walker, LLC, a private equity firm, all located in Salt Lake City, Utah. As in-house counsel at Cottonwood Capital, Steve was integral in the acquisition of over $400MM in national commercial real estate and in the formation of Cottonwoods acquisitions, management, development and financing arms.

James Ziter began his career in 1995 under the Senior Practice Rules as a Deputy District Attorney in Lancaster County, Nebraska. In 1996 Mr. Ziter founded ZITER | LAW, which is a multi-disciplinary law firm located in Salt Lake City, licensed and serving clients in Utah and Nevada.

Daren J. Harris is a Utah-located lawyer practicing in trademarks with an emphasis on business development and contract law. A member of the Arizona, Oregon, and Utah Bar Associations, he’s facilitated in the protection of thousands of brands since his 2011 graduation from Gonzaga University School of Law. Daren has managed the trademark crew at Northwest’s law firm, Law on Call, since its 2021 formation. When away from work, he enjoys reading, playing sports, and perfecting his craft as an amateur woodworker.

Dallas graduated from Albany Law School in Albany, New York in 2008. Before joining Ivie & Young, he clerked for Judge David N. Mortensen in the Fourth District Court in Utah. Dallas represents the fourth generation of the Young family to practice at Ivie & Young.
