I am the senior shareholder in Coplen & Banks, PC. I have been practicing law for approximately 35 years, with extensive experience in commercial, insurance, family, probate and personal injury litigation. Because of my education background, my practice is 50% litigation and 50% business transactions, wills, trust and probate.

My clients are business owners who are concerned that they are not complying with employment laws. I work with them to create policies, procedures, and manuals and provide training, investigations, and counseling regarding hiring, firing, and compliance with employment laws. I also work with business owners who want to start, buy, operate, or sell a business or a commercial real estate property.

Ms. Cordova has been a licensed attorney for over 15 years. She is licensed in Texas, Nevada and North Carolina (currently inactive in Nevada and North Carolina). She has held positions as General Counsel and Corporate Counsel for a real estate services company and a restaurant chain. She has also worked as an associate for two established law firms and is a former State Bar Counsel for the State Bar of Texas.
