I have been a life long resident of the mid-hudson valley and have been a practicing attorney engaged in the private practice of law in New York since 1994. I attended Law School at Detroit College of Law in Detroit, MI, now known as Michigan State University School of Law and at Albany Law School in Albany, NY. I received a Juris Doctor, Cum Laude. Richard graduated from American University in Washington, D.C., with a major in finance and accounting in 1987. He waited three years before entering the Southwestern University School of Law in Los Angeles, receiving his Juris Doctor in 1993. He worked briefly as a clerk in the United States Attorney's Office in Las Vegas and then he joined his father Melvyn Jacoby's firm in 1994. Richard is a member of the Suffolk County Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the National Consumer Bankruptcy Association.

A member of the Commercial Litigation Department, Peter's practice concentrates on bankruptcy and banking and includes the areas of commercial litigation, creditors' rights, and banking law. He represents secured lenders in Chapter 11 bankruptcies, as well as commercial landlords, financing companies, and unsecured creditors' committees. Peter's court admissions include the United States District Courts: Eastern District of New York, 1999; Southern District of New York, 1999; Western District of New York, 1993; Northern District of New York, 1981; United States Second Circuit Court of Appeals, 1986; State of New York, 1981; State of Florida, 1981.

Will is a Partner managing our Bankruptcy and Matrimonial & Family practices. He is a founding board member of Albany Barn, an organization dedicated to developing a permanent, sustainable creative arts incubator and community arts center in Albany.
