He is past President of the St. Joseph Bar Association and member of National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys. He has also worked as a Senior Attorney for the Resolution Trust Corporation and Staff attorney for the FDIC in the early 1990's before leaving to go into private practice.
