Q. Can a property manger or reality company be sued for lack of property maintenance?
A: As a general answer: each city has its own rules about maintenance, in addition Ohio's statutory and common law requirements. Many tenants with apartment issues have found assistance with their city's code enforcement division, who can mandate changes to comply with the code.
