Timothy G. Kerrigan

The largest concentration of my professional time is spent advising clients and parties on complex litigation and ADR as an attorney advocate/counselor and as a neutral certified as both a mediator and an arbitrator by the New Hampshire Office of Mediation and Arbitration.
My professional focus has increasingly been on personal injury risk exposure and claims analysis as well as continuing my litigation practice in both the state and federal court systems. A growing percentage of my professional time is now spent guiding sophisticated clients through prelitigation counseling, assisting them in analyzing risk exposure and claims valuation.
In my over thirty years in private practice I have tried many jury trials as well as cases to a non-jury finder of fact, whether before a judge or arbitrator(s). I also spend an increasing amount of my professional time as either a private mediator and arbitrator. I have handled cases on a wide variety of topics, as I have represented plaintiffs as well as defendants. My exposure to substantive areas of law has been considerable, including contracts, franchise agreements, employment and other commercial situations, tax abatement and other realty oriented disputes, school and education law (with particular focus on post secondary education law), condominium association and other statutory based claims, as well as both sides of personal injury, premises liability and product liability claims.
