I have over 17 years of knowledge and experience and have earned a reputation for being knowledgeable, aggressive, courteous, and responsive to my clients. I am fluent and literate in the Polish language and armed with balanced experience earned while working as an Assistant State’s Attorney in Cook County and then with a small, private law firm. I started my solo practice in 2008 with the idea that my legal and litigation experience coupled with years of knowledge, expertise and contacts within the legal and real estate community would allow me to help people deal with a variety of legal issues.
Our office is multilingual and prepared to provide representation in English and Polish. We also have a relationship with attorneys who speak Spanish, Greek and Gujarati. - I have extensive experience in real estate, land use and development. I have conducted hundreds of residential and commercial real estate closings in addition to having presented several matters in front of the City Council regarding zoning and land use issues. Past experience includes the successful negotiation and drafting of several high end commercial and residential leases and contracts. And, while with Kolpak & Lerner, I helped win the zoning change for a large local planned development and shopping center. Extensive contacts within the real estate community make for effective networking for both residential and commercial real estate needs.

- A former prosecutor with the Cook County States Attorneys Office, Igained extensive courtroom experience prosecuting thousands of cases involving both property offenses and violent crimes in a variety of assignments, both civil and criminal. My trial experience includes well over one hundred bench trials and five jury trials to verdict. In my tenure at the Cook County States Attorneys Office, I conducted hundreds of felony preliminary hearings and prepared cases for indictment. In addition, I have extensive knowledge of and first hand experience within the criminal court system and with law enforcement agencies. Mys experience in these environments gives me an edge in defending criminal defendants.
