Tammy D. Harris is an experienced attorney with 19 years of experience focusing on maritime and Jones Act claims, representing injured maritime workers. She is admitted to practice in all Louisiana State Courts, U.S. District Courts for the Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts of Louisiana, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
Tammy earned her B.A. in Psychology from the University of New Orleans in 2002 and her Juris Doctorate from Loyola University School of Law in 2005, graduating in the top 25% of her class. Her legal career began with hands-on experience as a legal assistant, giving her practical insights into litigation.
A native of New Orleans, Tammy is passionate about helping clients navigate the challenges of maritime personal injury cases. She values her role at The Young Firm, where she works with a dedicated team to ensure clients receive the justice and support they deserve. Outside of work, Tammy enjoys New Orleans culture with her husband, Erik, their son, Max, and their two dogs, Po-Boy and Nola.
